Klarpay AG is a Swiss financial institution founded in 2019, focused on online businesses and fintech enterprises. The company, regulated by FINMA, provides deposit-taking services and offers a wide range of financial solutions, including multi-currency accounts, international SEPA and SWIFT payments, as well as card payment and payout processing services for digital enterprises and e-commerce.

They issue unique IBAN numbers (CH). Multiple virtual numbers can be connected to the main IBAN number (quantity is not limited)
Klarpay opens accounts for legal entities registered in many jurisdictions except for sanctioned countries. Offshore companies are considered individually depending on the type of activity.
They work with high-risk clients, but on the condition that it is legal and does not violate the laws of the country where the company is registered. They prefer to work with online companies such as marketplaces, internet merchants, fintech companies, and others.
Account opening - depends on the risk group of the activity.
The tariff plan is formed by Klarpay for each case individually, after familiarizing themselves with the business.

SEPA and SWIFT transfers:
- for low-risk businesses - 0.25%;
- for medium-risk businesses - 0.35%;
- for high-risk businesses - 0.5%.
Klarpay accepts payments in EUR from crypto wallets, also available are transfers in CHF (SIC), EUR (Target 2), GBP (BACS, Faster Payments).
The account opening process consists of two stages: preparatory and the actual account opening stage.
The preparatory stage includes collecting and submitting documents necessary for opening an account. The duration of the preparatory stage depends directly on you.
The account is opened within 5 business days from the moment all necessary documents and information are provided to the payment system. The review period may be extended at the discretion of the payment system.
Klarpay adheres to the "know your customer" principle and in each individual case reserves the right to request additional information or documents, which may lead to an increase in account opening time, and may also refuse to open an account without explanation.
Working languages: English, German, and others.
Virtual corporate debit cards Klarpay VISA (support Apple Pay and Google Pay). Issued in large quantities, including "marketing" cards.
Company documents - it is necessary to provide originals of all statutory documents, including:
- Certificate of registration;
- Certificate of directors;
- Certificate of shareholders;
- Memorandum and Articles of Association;
- Signed ownership structure;
- Latest audited financial statements (or latest management reports);
- Activity license, if applicable.
Depending on the company's industry, additional documents may be required.
Documents for the account manager:
- original internal passport;
- original international passport;
- original identification code;
- CV-resume;
- original bank recommendation;
- original utility bill (for gas, electricity) not older than 3 months (to confirm the residential address).
Documents for the company's beneficiary:
- original internal passport;
- original international passport;
- original identification code;
- CV;
- original bank recommendation;
- original utility bill (for gas, electricity) not older than 3 months (to confirm the residential address).
The payment system also requests documents confirming the source of income (wealth) of the beneficiary. These may be:
- certificate from the place of work indicating the salary and statements from the personal account showing the salary accrual;
- tax declarations;
- documents confirming the receipt of inheritance;
- documents confirming the receipt of monetary gifts, as well as their presence in accounts;
- documents confirming the sale of movable/immovable property;
- if the beneficiary is the founder of the company - company documents, company account statements, tax declarations, documents confirming the payment of dividends;
- if the beneficiary is a private entrepreneur - extract from the register, tax declarations for the entrepreneur, bank account statements;
- bank certificate of deposit availability, as well as documents confirming the source of obtaining these funds;
- other documents reflecting income sources.
Documents for the nominal director, shareholder, and secretary (when using the company's nominal service):
- a bundle of documents under apostille, including copies of: passport, utility bill not more than 3 months old, and bank recommendation (if the nominal director, shareholder, and secretary is an individual);
- a bundle of statutory documents of the company under apostille, including: Certificate of Incorporation, Articles of Association and Memorandum, minutes of director appointment (if the director is a legal entity). Also, a Certificate of Good Standing under apostille, Certificate of Incumbency under apostille, and documents for the director may be required: a bundle of documents under apostille, including a copy of the passport, utility bill not more than 3 months old, and bank recommendation.
Please note that the payment system accepts documents in digital form, so originals will only be needed for digitization and are subject to return.
Account opening is done entirely remotely. They do not require personal presence to open an account, but it is necessary to go through a video-identification procedure. For video-identification, an email address and phone number are needed.
