The procedure of opening the account consists of two stages: the preliminary stage and opening of the account.

The process of reviewing documents by the bank and making a decision on opening an account takes from 1 to 2 months from the moment of submission of all necessary documents to the head office of the bank.
Julius Baer International limited follows the «know your client» principle and therefore you may be requested to provide any additional information or documents concerning the procedure of opening the account that may take additional time. Bank also may refuse to open the account without any explanations.

Company’s documents – originals of all company’s statutory documents need to be provided. As well as Certificate of Good Standing under the apostille, Certificate of Incumbency under the apostille (if the company is more than 1 year old) and a resolution in the form of a bank signed by the nominee director, which gives the beneficiary the right to open, manage and close accounts.

- original of identification code (taxpayer number);

- utility bill (for gas, electricity) from the place of residence no older than 3 months (to prove the place of residence).

- a copy of the passport, notarized and under the apostille (if the denominations are individuals);
- а copy of the statutory documents under the apostille (if the denominations are legal entities). The bank may also ask to provide them with a notarized copy of the passport under the apostille of the director of the nominee legal entity.
Julius Baer Switzerland may require other documents depending on jurisdiction.
To begin the procedure firstly it is necessary to fill in the questionnaire form and to provide the financial plan for managing the account (specify planning transactions, the amount of the first financing and the purpose of the account) a detailed description of the origin of funds, the company's statutory documents, and documents for the account manager, beneficiary and attorney.

After obtaining the bank’s prior approval, Campio Group organizes a meeting between the account manager and the beneficiary with the bank’s representative at the bank’s main office in Zurich (Switzerland) or in Kiev during a working visit of the bank’s representative to sign the bank forms.
