MKB BANK (Magyar Külkereskedelmi Bank) was established in 1950 with the aim to participate in international payments, trade finance transactions and manage bank services in foreign trade in particular.
Two-leveled structure of MKB BANK made it possible to become a fully-licensed bank in 1987. Bank not only strengthened its traditional business spheres but also mastered new activities. By the end of 1990-s MKB BANK was providing the full range of credit services to its clients.
The process of MKB BANK privatization lasted 2 years and ended in 1996. A German investor Bayerische Landesbank Girozentrale became a controlling shareholder.
In 2023, MKB BANK HUNGARY merged with Budapest Bank and began serving clients as MBH Vállalati Netbank.

The process of account opening consists of the preparatory period and the account opening itself.
The preparatory period includes the following: gathering and presentation of the necessary documents by the client; preparation and signing of the forms necessary to open the account; dispatch of the documents to the Head Office of the bank by a courier. The duration of this preparatory period depends directly on you.
The Bank examines the documents and forms and passes the decision on account opening. This process takes from 15 to 20 working days following the date when the documents are delivered to the Bank Head office.

Documents necessary for the account holder, beneficiary, director and shareholder: copy of passport the Power of Attorney and Declaration of Trust are issued according to. In case of Ukrainian passport the dully notarized translation into English should be provided for.
To begin the procedure, high-quality copies of documents are required, which we submit to the bank for review. After their approval by the bank, we agree on video identification of the client. Then the account opening process begins.
